Change your OtterID password

To change your OtterID password, or set your forgot password questions, use the CSUMB Identity Management system.

Forgot your ID?

Use the form to the right to look up your OtterID using your name and date of birth. If you have forgotten your password, you should call (831) 582-HELP.

No more password syncing for chat or mobile devices!

IT has performed an upgrade to the campus OtterID system so every time you change your OtterID password, it is also synced with Google so your mobile device or any other chat or email clients will always use your most up-to-date password.

If you are setting up a mobile device for the first time, you will need to have changed your OtterID password after October 1, 2011 for this service to work. To change your OtterID password, use the CSUMB Identity Management system.
